We want to share with you all our upcoming MYS and Sporting CT events for the upcoming year. We have designed each program to fit any players' needs and help them improve their overall performance and confidence on the field.
FUTSAL - SESSION 2 (Jan 30 - March 27)
Sporting CT's 8 week Futsal Clinic will endeavor to cultivate these skills through technical work, small group activities & game play in each of our classes. This clinic will take place at two different gyms in Middletown.
Our main goal for this program is to continue on developing player's skills through the magical and fast phase of the Futsal game. Futsal popularity is growing due to its quick results and positive effects it has on players’ development. Futsal is a quick style of soccer popular in Europe and South America.
The essence of futsal is the efficiency with split-second improvisation, creativity and technique. Futsal is played on a small, indoor court with a smaller (size 3), heavier ball which doesn't bounce much. This process allows players to quickly settle the ball on the ground and keep it on their feet.
This program is for all boys and girls who want to take their skills and confidence to a whole new level. Players will train for an hour each week where our sessions last 8 weeks.
This clinic is designed to improve our athlete’s running form, balance, agility and lateral mobility. Changes of direction and speed are critical to all sports. Our staff will work to build this base for any athletes interested in gaining a competitive edge on the field!

"Your children's youth sports experience will end, and it may happen suddenly. Hopefully you will not look back and think, "I wish I had enjoyed it more instead of obsessing over performance, or playing time, or the team's record." Enjoy the experience; it will end too soon."
